Thank you for being a valued member of HUME. Our space is a reflection of the culture and community we’ve built, and we take great pride in every detail. Below, you can find our club policies, designed to enhance the experience for all, and key club information.
Spa Etiquette
The spa is intended to be a place of peace and quiet. Please speak quietly and be mindful of energy levels.
Loud, unruly or diruptive behvaiour is not permitted.
No photography, phone calls or innapropriate technology use is permitted in the spa areas or locker room.
Phone use is not permitted in the sauna.
Rinse off thoroughly before entering our cold tubs, as bath and hair products damage our filtration system.
Store your belongings in a locker
Discard personal items, such as razors and disposable undergarments, after use in the shower.
Bottoms are required in the cold tubs.
Shoes are not permitted in the sauna or steam room.
Phone
Phone use is prohibited in the sauna and phone calls are prohibited in all spaces except in the designated cafe area.
Photography
No persons (in full or part) shall be captured in any photography or videography taken without consent.
We do not allow tripod use.
Laptops + Tablets
Zooms or other audible work is not permitted outside of the designated area.
Wifi is provided in the café.z
Check-In
Upon arrival, please check in using the HUME Members app and present your confirmation checkmark to the front desk team.
Respect
Members are expected to be respectful towards all members, their guests and staff.
While we encourage you to have a full and well-paced experience, please be mindful of the amount of time spent using equipment if others are waiting their turn.
Privacy
While friendliness is encouraged, please respect others' practices, privacy and time for self-care.
Forceful advances on other members, their guests and staff are not tolerated.
Class Policy
Class starts promptly as per listed on the schedule. Please arrive at least five minutes early to get settled.
Late entry will not be permitted.
Phones are not allowed in the ground floor studio.
Late Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made within 12 hours of a group class will incur a $10 fee.
Private sessions and treatments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will result in loss of credit.
Guest Policy
Members receive six complimentary all-access guest passes per year. Limit to one per person.
Repeat and additional guest passes may be purchased for $100 at the front desk.
Guests may not book group classes in advance, but may be added as a walk-in subject to availability.
Members can bring up to three guests to the rooftop café exclusively at any time. Availability subject to capacity.
Guest passes will be credited back if a guest becomes a member.
Members are to check in and register their guests at the front desk.
Please only bring guests who are an extension of the HUME community and abide by membership guidelines. Members are responsible for their guests' behavior. HUME reserves the right to limit access at its sole discretion.
Other
Shirts and shoes are required in interior gym spaces.
In an effort towards sustainability, we kindly ask that members try to limit their bath towel use to two towels.
Towels, bath products, and equipment are provided for use on the premises and are not to be removed.
Wipe down and re-rack all weights after use. Please avoid slamming weights onto the gym floor and roof.
No outside food is allowed. Food may only be consumed in the café.
Kindly use headphones for personal music.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited.
Must be 18 years old to access the facilities.
Pets and emotional support animals are not allowed.
Out of courtesy to our community, please stay home if you are experiencing illness.
Membership Pause Policy
HUME may, in its sole discretion and subject to availability, permit members to temporarily pause their membership under the terms set forth below:
Members may request one (1) membership pause per calendar year for a maximum of 3 months.
The current pause fee is $50 per month to maintain membership status and current pricing.
No pro-rated refunds will be issued, including if the member returns early.
Any unused days remaining in a paid billing period at the time of the pause will be added back to the membership upon return.
A return date must be provided at the time of the request. If none is given, the membership will automatically reactivate three months from the pause start date.
Members who cancel their membership in lieu of pausing will be subject, upon any future reapplication and approval, to then-current availability, membership rates, and the then-current initiation fee (which may be higher than the initiation fee in effect at the time of cancellation).
Approval of a pause request does not guarantee future availability or continuation of pricing beyond the approved pause period.
HUME reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this policy, including fees, at any time, with or without notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
